Welcome to Tiny Rounds. Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information Tiny Rounds collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding your information.
1. About Tiny Rounds
Tiny Rounds is an educational mobile application and website (tinyrounds.app) designed to support pediatric medical speech-language pathology learning through daily challenges, consult simulations, and clinical reasoning activities. 2. Information We Collect
Information stored on your device
Tiny Rounds stores app progress locally on your device to support features such as: Daily progression Rank advancement Track unlocks Quiz and consult progress Onboarding completion App preferences This information is stored using device storage and is not transmitted to Tiny Rounds or shared publicly.
Information you provide when you sign up for updates
If you provide your email address — for example, to request beta access or sign up for product updates — we collect and store that email address. We use it to send you communications related to Tiny Rounds, including beta access information, product announcements, and other updates about the Service. You can unsubscribe from these communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us at hello@tinyrounds.app. We use a third-party email service provider to send these communications. Your email address is stored on that provider's systems subject to its own privacy and security practices.
Information you voluntarily provide
If you contact us for support, we may receive information such as: Your email address Device details you choose to share Messages or feedback you submit Support communications are retained as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and to maintain a record of support requests, and are not used for any other purpose without your consent.
Diagnostic and crash data
Tiny Rounds is built with Expo and distributed through Apple's App Store and TestFlight. These platforms may automatically collect basic diagnostic information — such as crash reports and performance data — in accordance with their own privacy policies. We use this information solely to identify and fix problems with the Service.
3. AI-Assisted Content
Tiny Rounds uses AI tools to assist in the authoring of educational content. These tools are used internally during content development, and all AI-assisted content is reviewed by a qualified pediatric medical speech-language pathologist before publication. No user input or activity within the app is sent to AI services as part of normal use of the Service. Your interactions with questions, simulations, and progress tracking remain on your device.

At this time, Tiny Rounds does not: Require account creation Collect payment information Sell personal information Share personal information for advertising purposes Use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking Provide social networking features Collect protected health information (PHI) Request patient-identifiable medical information If our practices change in any of these areas, we will update this Privacy Policy and notify users in accordance with Section 9.
5. Third-Party Services
Tiny Rounds relies on third-party services to operate. These providers may collect technical information in accordance with their own privacy policies. Current providers include: Apple App Store and TestFlight — app distribution and beta testing (Apple Privacy Policy) Expo / EAS — app build and distribution infrastructure (Expo Privacy Policy) Squarespace — website hosting and form submissions (Squarespace Privacy Policy) Email service provider — used to deliver mailing list and update emails (provider may change; users will be notified of material changes) We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services and encourage you to review their policies.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to help protect information related to the Service. Because most user activity data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data depends primarily on the security of your device itself. For information transmitted to third-party services (such as email addresses provided for mailing list signup), we rely on the security measures of those providers. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You have the following choices regarding your information: Unsubscribe from emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or email us at hello@tinyrounds.app. Request access to or deletion of your information. Contact us at hello@tinyrounds.app and we will respond within a reasonable time. Clear local app data. You can delete app progress at any time by deleting and reinstalling Tiny Rounds, or by clearing the app's data through your device settings.
California residents
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@tinyrounds.app. Tiny Rounds does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. Children's Privacy
Tiny Rounds is intended for adult learners — clinicians, students, and healthcare professionals — and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly. 9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically as Tiny Rounds evolves. When we make material changes, we will notify users via email or in-app notification at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect, when reasonably practicable. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Tiny Rounds after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
