Tiny Rounds Terms of Use

Welcome to TinyRounds. By accessing or using the TinyRounds application, website, or related services (collectively, "Tiny Rounds" or the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Tiny Rounds. Your use of Tiny Rounds is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at tinyrounds.app/privacy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
1. Educational Purpose Only
Tiny Rounds is an educational and professional development platform intended to support pediatric medical speech-language pathology learning. Tiny Rounds is not a medical device and is not intended for the diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of any disease or condition in any patient. Tiny Rounds does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or clinical supervision. Content within the Service is intended to support evidence-informed learning and clinical reasoning only. Users remain solely responsible for:
Independent clinical judgment
Compliance with institutional policies and protocols
Verification of clinical information against primary sources
Appropriate supervision requirements
All patient care decisions
Tiny Rounds should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical judgment, individualized patient assessment, or appropriate clinical supervision.
2. AI-Assisted Content Development
Tiny Rounds uses artificial intelligence tools to assist in the development of questions, clinical scenarios, and educational materials. All AI-assisted content is reviewed by a qualified medical speech-language pathologist before publication. However, no review process can guarantee complete accuracy, and AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information despite human review. By using Tiny Rounds, you acknowledge that:
Some content has been drafted with the assistance of AI tools and subsequently human-reviewed
Evidence in pediatric medical SLP practice evolves; content may not reflect the most current research at all times
You are responsible for independently verifying clinical information against primary sources before applying it to patient care
Tiny Rounds makes no warranty that AI-assisted content is free from error This disclosure is provided in the interest of transparency about how Tiny Rounds content is created.
3. Eligibility
Tiny Rounds is intended for clinicians, students, healthcare professionals, and adult learners. By using Tiny Rounds, you represent and warrant that:
You are at least 18 years old, or you are at least 16 years old and using the Service for educational purposes with the permission of a parent, guardian, or educational institution
You are using the Service in good faith for personal educational or professional development purposes
All information you provide during registration is accurate and current
4. Accounts and User Conduct
If account creation is required to access certain features, you agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
You agree not to:
Use Tiny Rounds for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or any related systems Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or extract content Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
Share your account credentials with any third party
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion.
5. No Patient Information
Users must not enter protected health information (PHI), patient-identifiable information, or any confidential medical information into Tiny Rounds. Entering such information violates these Terms and may result in immediate account termination. Tiny Rounds is not designed, intended, or authorized to store, process, or transmit PHI, and is not a HIPAA-covered platform.
6. Intellectual Property
All Service content, including but not limited to:
Questions Simulations Clinical cases Branding and logos
Graphics and visual design
Text and educational materials
Progression and gamification systems
Software, code, and underlying architecture is the property of Tiny Rounds or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Permitted use. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Tiny Rounds for your personal, non-commercial educational and professional development purposes. Prohibited use. You may not:
Copy substantial portions of Service content Redistribute, share, or republish Service materials
Reproduce simulations, case content, or question banks, commercially or otherwise
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the
Service Use Tiny Rounds branding, logos, or trade dress without prior written permission
Use Service content to train, develop, or improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning model
Use the Service to develop a competing product
7. Feedback and Submissions
If you submit feedback, suggestions, bug reports, ideas, or other communications to Tiny Rounds ("Feedback"), you grant Tiny Rounds a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, modify, and incorporate that Feedback into the Service or any other Tiny Rounds product, without compensation or attribution. You represent that any Feedback you submit is your own original work and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
8. Subscriptions and Future Features
Tiny Rounds may offer optional paid features, subscriptions, specialty tracks, or premium educational content in the future. Pricing, feature availability, and subscription structures may change over time. Current TestFlight or preview builds may reference future gated or subscription-based features that are not yet active for purchase. When paid features become available, additional terms governing billing, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refunds will apply and will be presented to users prior to purchase.
9. Third-Party Services
Tiny Rounds may rely on third-party services for hosting, analytics, payment processing, AI capabilities, and other functions. Tiny Rounds is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, or practices of third-party services, and your use of such services may be governed by separate terms.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Tiny Rounds is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and quiet enjoyment. We do not guarantee: Clinical accuracy in every circumstance Currency or completeness of evidence-based content Continuous or uninterrupted availability Error-free operation Compatibility with all devices or operating systems That the Service will meet your specific requirements Educational and clinical content may evolve as evidence and practice standards change. You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own discretion and risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Tiny Rounds, its creators, owners, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service. In no event shall the total aggregate liability of Tiny Rounds arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service exceed the greater of (a) the total amount paid by you to Tiny Rounds in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). The above limitations do not apply to liability arising from gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tiny Rounds and its creators, owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: Your use or misuse of the Service Your violation of these Terms Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party Your application of Service content to any patient care decision Any content you submit to the Service, including any Feedback
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [your state], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [your county and state], and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify users via email or in-app notification at least thirty (30) days before the changes take effect, when reasonably practicable. Your continued use of Tiny Rounds after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of those revised Terms. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
15. Termination
You may stop using Tiny Rounds at any time. If account creation is required, you may delete your account by contacting us at the email address below. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Intellectual Property, Feedback and Submissions, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law — will survive any termination of these Terms or your use of the Service.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented to you for specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tiny Rounds regarding the Service, and supersede any prior agreements or communications. No waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of that provision or any other provision.
